Since the release of Nollywood actress, Nkiru Slyvanus by
her kidnappers, there have been stories emerging about how
she was freed exactly. One thing for sure is that, her
release didn’t come cheap.

The kidnappers allegedly “tampered” with Nkiru and even
threatened her family that they would impregnate her if the
ransom was not paid “immediately”. At this stage, the family of the actress was no longer sure the Police could rescue her unhurt, hence they paid N8million.

We the management of VooDoo Lounge Elegushi wishes to draw the attention of the general public to the false reports that Davido was allegedly slapped and mishandled at our lounge. We take pride in our customers satisfaction, comfort and security and we wish to state that davido was not slapped at VooDoo Lounge. Blogs and pressmen please take note. Ko le re VooDoo!!!!!

not from a policeman this time but from King
Saheed Elegushi. Yeah… King Saheed Elegushi.
It all went down at the after-party of the Dynamix
awards which took place at Voodoo lounge, Elegushi
beach. A reliable eye witness stated that B-Red was
heavily drunk and was arguing with the King when
Davido moved forward to touch the King. In a flash the
monarch delivered a hot slap on Davido’s face and they
were mercilessly beaten including Davido’s bouncer by
the Elegushi guards.
Davido & B-Red amidst others later prostrated and
apologized to King Saheed when they were corrected
by a member of the Crew.

A new study has suggested that human hands may have evolved in a way that enables us to punch better.
The human hand is a distinctive and efficient shape, one of only a few possible configurations capable of providing ample dexterity and the ability to deliver a forceful blow to enemies at the same time. While the clenched fist doesn’t deliver a greater amount of force than an open-palm, it does serve the purpose of protecting the fingers more effectively.
“Once hands are no longer used in locomotion there could have been many different ways to manipulate and many different ways to punch,” said paleo-anthropolgist Milford Wolpoff. “A hand that does both is really limited in its morphology.”
Human hands may have evolved their unique shape in order to better punch the living daylights out of competitors, a new study suggests.

Exclusive!!! Ex Mr Nigeria Kenneth Okolie kidnapped alongside Nkiru Sylvanus
We all heard that actress Nkiru Sylvanus was kidnapped
late Saturday night December 15th, what we didn’t
hear until now was that 2010 Mr Nigeria Kenneth Okolie
was with her when she was kidnapped.
Kenneth, Nkiru and another yet to be identified
passenger left a movie location in Owerri late Saturday
night and were heading to another location when
gunmen blocked Nkiru’s car between Concorde Hotel and
Cathedral Road in Owerri, and took all three passengers
in the car.
Kenneth left Lagos two weeks ago to feature in the
movie and was due back home sometime this week. The
kidnappers are yet to make contact with Kenneth’s
family. Truly sad what is going on in our country.

Hundreds evacuated at Newtown Catholic church – the town’s center of memorials and mourning – after BOMB THREAT hours before Obama visit
The St Rose of Lima church in Connecticut was evacuated
today during a noon mass after the church received a bomb
threat – in another traumatic day for a community rocked by
tragedy.
Following the horrific tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary
School in Newtown on Friday, tensions were raised again at
the sight of nearly a dozen camouflage-clad SWAT team
members carrying assault weapons who rushed into the
church and a nearby educational center.
The Catholic church that has become a center of grieving
since the deaths of 20 children and six adults at the nearby Sandy Hook Elementary School.
With their guns drawn, police shouted to members of the
public to stand back and take cover while they secured the
building.
A woman who had apparently suffered an anxiety attack
was taken out on a stretcher and placed into an ambulance.
After keeping the public and media at bay for more than an
hour, the police seemed to relax their posture and at around 1.30pm they were allowing people to lay flowers an candles
at a makeshift memorial.
Evelyn Leon, 17, of Waterbury, 20 miles east of Newtown,
said she was sitting in the back of the church with her
family when word came to leave the church.
‘Word filtered back through the pews that there had been a
threat made and we had to get into our cars and evacuate,’
she said.
‘Everybody was just rushing out. People just didn’t know
what do.’
President Obama arrived in Newtown at about 4pm to
attend a memorial service for the 20 first graders and six
adults killed in Friday’s gun rampage at the elementary school by Adam Lanza, who also killed himself and his mother.
The president planned a private meeting Sunday afternoon
with families of the victims and with emergency personnel
who responded to the shootings.
In the evening, he was to speak at an interfaith vigil at
Newtown High School.

Man with 47 guns arrested threatening to kill as many people as possible at same time as CONNECTICUT MASSACRE
n Indiana man with 47 guns and stocks of ammunition was
arrested after threatening to go into a local elementary
school and ‘kill as many people as he could before police
could stop him’.
Von Meyer, 60, was arrested on Friday after his wife called
Cedar Lake police after he threatened to set her on fire and continue his violent spree by attacking a nearby elementary
school.
The loaded threat came the same day that a young man killed
20 children and seven others in Newtown, Connecticut.
When police arrived at Meyer’s home, they found 47 guns
and ammunition, the sum of which cost more than
$100,000.
‘Through investigation, police learned that Meyer reportedly had a large number of weapons hidden throughout the two
story historical home,’ the report states.
The makes and models of the guns have not been released,
but many of them were said to be historical collectors items. Meyer allegedly said that he was going to light his wife on
fire once she fell asleep. His plan didn’t end there, however, as he set his sights on the Jane Ball Elementary School
which is less than 1,000 feet away from his home.
The police report states that the school is easily accessed
from Meyer’s home by a series of trails and paths that cut
through a wooded area.
Officials at Jane Ball School were notified, and they
immediately took unspecified security measures.
The same happened at all local schools on Friday because of
the threat, which was undoubtedly heightened as news
rolled in of the shooting in Connecticut.
Police arrested Meyer and he now faces four counts of
felony intimidation, two counts of resisting law
enforcement, and one count of domestic battery.
Meyer was known to be a member of the Invaders
Motorcycle Gang, though his role in the group was unclear.
Like the notorious Hells Angels, the Invaders Motorcycle Gang is also considered an outlaw group. The Northern Indiana
chapter was founded in 1965.
He is being held without bail at the Lake County jail.

Another Shooting reported in Texas movie theater Sunday night
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — One person was believed wounded late Sunday when a gunfire erupted at a local movie theater, sending panicked moviegoers rushing to exits and ducking for cover, the San Antonio News is reporting.
At least one suspect – possibly the alleged shooter – was in custody, officers said.
According to initial reports at the scene, an unidentified person was wounded but their condition was not immediately released.
Witnesses told San Antonio News reporters numerous shots were fired inside and outside the Santikos Mayan Palace 14 theater complex on Southwest Military Drive around 9:25 p.m. local time, the newspaper reported, setting off the scramble to safety before police and EMS arrived.
One witnesses said she and several other patrons locked themselves in a bathroom to avoid the shooting.
Police scanner traffic indicated the shooting incident may have begun at a nearby restaurant, and the suspect may have been an employee there.
In broadcast reports, eyewitnesses said the gunfire appeared to start outside before moving into the theater lobby.
The shooting immediately sparked fears of a mass slaying like the one in July that killed 12 people and injured 58 at a movie theater in Aurora, Colo.

the public) in October , but have failed to register their son within the 42-day legal deadline, reports The Sun.
The “Skyfall” singer faces a £1,000 fine ($1,606 USD)
for not having registered the birth of their son with the
government. According to the UK government’s website,
“all births must be registered within 42 days of the child
being born” and filed with documents containing the place
and date of the birth, parents names, sex of the baby,
parents’ addresses, as well as the place and dates of
the parents’ birth, and their jobs.
“Cops are hardly going to be banging on their door
tomorrow and it’s probably just an oversight on their
part,” a source told the Sun.
Given that the singer sold more than 10 million copies of
her album “21” in the United States alone, we doubt she’s
too worried about having to pay the fine.
