‘Why didn’t they complain for 30 or 40 years?’ BBC presenter questions unfair’pursuit of celebs after being charged with rape of women and young girls

Stuart Hall has questioned the police ‘pursuit of celebrities’ after being charged with sex offences dating back four decades.
The broadcaster, 83, was accused of raping a young woman and 14 counts of indecent assault on children as young as nine when he attended a police station by appointment on Monday.

He appeared in court earlier this month to face accusations of three other attacks on young girls. But the Radio 5 Live commentator believes the pursuit of celebrities by the police has led to a string of allegations being made against him.

A 40-year-old Bangladesh woman, Monju Begum, has reportedly cut off the penis of a man who was allegedly trying to rape her, and then took it to police as evidence.

According to police, Mozammel Haq Mazi, the suspect, who is also Begum’s neighbor, forced his way into her shanty and began sexually assaulting her. Investigators say Begum stopped the attack by cutting off his penis. She then placed the evidence into a polythene bag and took it into police as proof that Mazi had attempted to rape her.

Predatory Ebrima Dampha, 33, was caught on CCTV as he pounced on his vulnerable victim when she passed out in a bar at four times the drink drive limit. UNILAG Student Hospitalised After Outing With Facebook Friend

A 21-year-old student has been hospitalised, after she was allegedly pushed down from the third floor of a building in  Lagos, following a disagreement with a man she met on the social network, Facebook.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Akabugu Nkiruka sustained multiple injuries, including a pelvis fracture, and was undergoing surgery at the General Hospital, Marina, Lagos, on Tuesday.

Nkiruka, a Linguistics student of the University of Lagos, told NAN on her hospital bed that she met the young man through the social media, barely a week before the November 1 incident.

She told NAN that the 26-year-old man (name withheld) last Wednesday invited her to a night club in Apapa from where they ended up in his family home at 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.

A WOMAN was raped in an alley — and then sexually assaulted AGAIN by a passer-by as she lay slumped on the ground.

Predator Mustafa Yussuf, 21, has been jailed for the first attack but the second rapist has not been caught. A court heard how the victim had left a club alone in Manchester in the early hours of New Year’s Day when she was suddenly marched down an alleyway by Yussuf.

She was barely able to stand after drinking heavily and Yussuf raped her before fleeing.

The executed dictator is said to have kidnapped schoolgirls in order to recruit them as his personal sex slaves.

The book, published in France, tells the story of a 15-year-old girl who was abducted by Gaddafi’s “talent scouts” after being chosen to hand him flowers when he visited her school.

The girl, named Soraya, was repeatedly raped, beaten and even urinated on by the ruthless leader known as Mad Dog after being recruited to his harem.

This incident happened yesterday afternoon at Adeniji Adele, Dolphin Estate, Phase 2. A little girl ran into a woman’s shop crying. The woman asked her why she was crying, but the little girl couldn’t really express herself. She just kept pointing at a particular direction, and crying. Then a few minutes later, the shop owner saw a man approaching her shop and calling on the girl to follow him. The woman asked the man who he was and why he was after the girl. The man probably realized the women wasn’t going to release the girl to him, so he tried to run. The woman raised an alarm immediately shouting ole ole, thinking he was a kidnapper, not knowing he had done something much worse.
