Conjoined twins who shared intestine are now ‘bubbly babies’ after successful separation op

TWINS Rosie and Ruby Formosa were born joined at the abdomen and were rushed to Great Ormond Street Hospital for an emergency op the day after they were born. Despite doctors’ warnings that survival chances were low, the sisters are now doing well. Mum Angela said: ‘They are starting to smile’
