Kristen Stewart ‘BANNED from premiere of Robert Pattinson’s upcoming film Cosmopolis’
The red carpet event is set to take place in New York on August 13 ahead of the movie’s limited U.S. release on August 17. But security staff have been told to keep cheating Stewart away from the premiere and after party, according to RadarOnline.
If your name’s not down, your’re not coming in: Kristen Stewart has apparently been banned from Robert Pattinson’s upcoming film premiere of Cosmopolis, pictured together in London last November at the Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere Film bosses are said to be concerned 22-year-old K-Stew could seize upon the opportunity to speak to Pattinson – and are worried about the media storm it would cause.
An industry insider told the website: ‘Despite the fact Robert and Kristen have been communicating by cell phone, she will not be at the Cosmopolis New York premiere. ‘Security was briefed and they were told that Kristen is not allowed anywhere near the red carpet or the after party.’
The premiere will come as 26-year-old R-Patz’s first public appearance since news broke last month that his girlfriend and Twilight co-star Stewart had cheated on him with her Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

Kristen released a grovelling public apology in the wake of the scandal, describing it as a ‘momentary indiscretion’ with the fimmaker, who is married with two children to Liberty Ross.
Yesterday Pattinson’s representatives denied reports the actor was pulling out of a press junket associated with the film.
A spokesman told People.com: ‘Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting.
‘No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.’
The film, based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Don DeLillo, is directed by David Cronenberg and also stars Juliette Binoche and Sarah Gadon.
It initially premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May, drawing mixed early reactions from critics.
The drama already had a limited release in the UK on June 15. Pattinson plays the lead role of disturbed billionaire Eric Packer.
Cronenberg and Pattinson are also expected at a TimesTalk event on August 15 in the Big Apple to discuss the film.
